Garuda, Still be The Best Airline from Indonesia


Garuda Indonesian Airways won some award in international levels that reinforce its position as the best Indonesian airlines.

According to Vice President of Corporate Communication PT. Garuda Indonesia, Pujoboto, Garuda Indonesia selected as the best international airline in Australia for July 2012. Earlier, in January and February 2012, Garuda Indonesia is also designated as the best international airline by Roy Morgan, an independent international research institute in Australia.

It conducts research in August  - July 2012 against 4.530 the respondents before giving the award. In addition to Garuda Indonesia, the highest value (90%) was also achieved by Singapore Airlines. This value exceeds other international airlines such as Air New Zealand, Emirates and Thai Airways.

In the Farnborough Airshow in London last July, Garuda Indonesia also gained the title as the World's Best Airline, and Regionale The Best Regional Airline in Asia. Assessment conducted by Skytrax, an independent aviation agency in London through customer satisfaction surveys.

Respondents in the survey are consumer airline passengers totaled 18 million people by 100 nationalities. The survey conducted on more than 200 companies both international and domestic airlines. There are 38 aspects of the product and the size of the lay anan suvai in the period July 2011 - June 2012's.

Garuda Indonesia also managed a four star airline established in 2010 by the same institution, Skytax. A year later, even Skytax named Garuda Indonesia as Turn Around Airline of the Year in the Centre for Asia Pacific Airlines (CAPA).
