Indonesia : Most Comfortable Place in the World
to Do Business

Are you interested in doing business in Indonesia? Do not hesitate, because Indonesia is the most comfortable place in the world for entrepreneurs to start a business. This is not advertising, but the results of a survey by global scale.

According to a survey conducted GlobalScan / PIPA for the BBC World Service, business climate in Indonesia is very good for entrepreneurs. The survey by the number of respondents were 24 537 adults in 24 countries asked about how they felt when starting a business. In addition, the survey asked whether they appreciate the creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and whether the good ideas can be easily applied. These results are declared, Indonesia most reward innovation and creativity followed by America and China.

The survey, conducted from June to September 2010 shows the majority of people in 23 of 24 countries will face severe problems when starting a business. Countries that are considered the most hostile in this case is Brazil. In this country, 84% of respondents agreed that starting a business is very heavy.


The two largest economies in the world - the U.S. and China - known as the most favored nation in terms of innovation and creativity. In both countries, 75% said they appreciate the innovation and creativity. However, Indonesia was again in the top position with a rate of 85%. In the down position, Turks 65% and 61% of Russians felt innovation and creativity are not valued in their country.



Director Doug Miller GlobeScan said, the answers of respondents in this poll will reflect the economic performance of their respective countries. He said the big difference in an entrepreneurial culture among the countries that are growing will affect their economic performance in the coming period.


Starting a business is often not easy. However, it would be better if the environment is felt support for new ideas and open opportunity to make it happen. Indonesia was again among the most positive, namely 79%, or nearly four out of five people feel that a supportive environment. In comparison, only 19% in Turkey and in Russia only 23% who felt able to realize their ideas.
