If you are walking on the sidewalk which is specifically for pedestrians and think you are safe from the possibility of getting hit by a car, then you could be wrong. Eight people died on the spot pedestrians, and then another one died after being admitted to hospital because of getting hit by a car on the sidewalk.
This tragic accident that occurred in Jakarta, Indonesia, in early 2012. Unexpected events and surprising to many peoples is because the driver, a single woman, 29 years just to consume narcotics in a colleague's birthday party. Time of the accident, she was with three other friends in the car. (See the photo on left)
Afriyani Susanti, the killer drivers was spontaneous accept criticism, slander and anger from public. Thousands of people have commented on a news site –yahoo Indonesia blaspheme Afriyani. First, of course, because she considered had been so negligent driving in a state of being affected by drugs. Another fact is also because this fat woman with short hair does not have a driver's license and car papers are valid.
Because of these faults, she estimated to be under sentence of penal Afriyani about more than 10 years. However, the families of the victims of grief too deep. Partly considered that the sentence was too light compared to the nine lives that have been floated in vain.
Currently the legal process is still running. However, one valuable lesson for everyone is constantly alert while walking on the sidewalk pedestrians. Also a warning for users of narcotics or alcohol, so do not add to the victim stupidities with driving in drunk. And still actual always : Say no to drugs!

judge sentenced to 15 years in prison for Afriyani in a trial in the State
Court of Central Jakarta (August, 29, 2012). The judge assess Afriyani proved negligent
driving, causing other people died by traffic laws. However, she did not prove
to intentionally kill another person under criminal law. The verdict is lighter
than the prosecution in the form of imprisonment of 20 years in prison. Some family
of victim this accident assess the punishment is less equal.
