How Funny The Political Ads
By : Asih Nurhayati

Increasingly intense political advertising ahead of the 2009 Indonesian general election televised tasted funny. Public figure who feel 'capable' as the nation's leaders portray themselves like angels savior of the nation. Call it like Soetrisno Bachir, Prabowo, Rizal Malarangeng, etc..

What a 'beautiful image' was caught, credible and attract public sympathy? Perhaps, there is no effect at all! They throw so much money at useless for television commercials.

What emerged, instead of protest. ‘Suster Apung’ that is part political advertising of Soetrisno Bachir –Chairman of the Party’s National Mandate, mind was associated with political affairs. "I think it's for the public service," she said innocently. Suster Apung is a nurse that serves in isolated area up the little boat.

'Life is action.’ It is said that as Soetrisno slogan. Astonishingly, why the sale was the work of others-such as Suster Apung, not Soetrisno act alone.

Suster Apung : Victim of Political ads

Here's the problem. Political ad 'sell' someone, essentially the same principle with how to sell the goods. It should be pointed out, what is the inherent quality of the goods or the person who sold it.

If, sell future leaders, the required information is 'Who is this guy?' Depiction of self sudden embrace of the common people, not necessarily believe that they care about the small people. Anyone knows that it is just a act. Actually the people who need to know is what has made
the character in daily life, in what capacity he was running for leader, and so on.

To sell 'future leaders' most important is the quality of the person is real, it is. Imagery engineering course, does not mean anything without the real reality.
